2nd CAN DO Assembly - 11 March 2016

The second of our annual events aimed at celebrating Scotland's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A Culture of Ambition

Our second CAN DO Assembly was held at the Prince's Trust Employability and Enterprise Centre in Glasgow on 11 March 2016.  Chaired by Sandy Kennedy of Entrepreneurial Scotland, it was attended by around 120 people and featured an engaging mix of speakers, panels and workshops - all on the theme of Leading the Way.

The morning session featured inspiring talks from Bart Houlahan of B-Lab and Bob Keiller, former CEO of the Wood Group and currently chair of Scottish Enterprise.  The subject in hand was Values-based Business.  In the afternoon, the focus was on Scaling Up Scotland and our speakers were Irene Graham of the Scale Up Institute, Robin MacGeachy of Peak Scientific and Peter Gloor from MIT.  There is now the opportunity to hear these amazing talks, plus the associated panel sessions, online via the Scotland CAN DO Vimeo site

“I want to see a can-do culture define us as a country on every level.”
