CAN DO ASSEMBLY

When Scotland CAN DO was launched in November 2013, the Scottish Government committed to holding annual Ministerial events aimed at celebrating and catalysing our nation’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

CAN DO Assembly 2015

The inaugural CAN DO Assembly was held at 200 St Vincent Street Glasgow on Friday 20 February 2015. Attended by around 150 partners and supporters from across the eco-system, guest speakers included John Swinney MSP (Deputy First Minister & Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Constitution and Economy), Will Hutton from the BIG Innovation Centre and Tom Hunter, Scottish entrepreneur and philanthropist. A number of design-thinking workshops were also held to help generate new ideas for maximising Scotland’s innovative potential.

The second CAN DO Assembly is scheduled to be held in early 2016.
