Promotes entrepreneurship as a career option to talent in Scotland - by encouraging women from different career backgrounds to consider startup through their networking and through enterprise and coding workshops
They provide access to role models and mentor support - through networking - and now (2016) through a formal networking community - and Mentoring Workshop
They develop entrepreneurial skills - through enterprise and coding workshops
Networking - each GGS event has time for networking. The strength of their community is one way they measure success.
Increase knowledge on how where and when to access finance - they have recently secured sponsorship from LINC and have access to finance as a theme for 2016 - 2017
Competitions and Awards - they are running their first Student Competition this year in partnership with Nano-Lit Technologies Ltd - this is a travel bursary for DJCAD students for the female who produces the best lighting design as part of their scheduled modules - they will help them to visit a heroine or hero of theirs within the design/tech space
Identifying Opportunities - they partner with as many different organisations within the enterprise space to ensure cross- fertilisation of opportunities that are available across Scotland and send out additional information via our Newsletter
