Safer places are more enterprising places and SBRC has a range of programmes to ensure Scotland is a great place for innovation and enterprise. In addition to working with all types and sizes of businesses to improve their cyber, financial and physical resilience, SBRC are also hosting 1001 Enterprising Scots Can Do Towns Challenge. Working with community groups, this unique project helps unlock the enterprise talent of our towns at grassroots level. SBRC has a number of key workstreams including Retail and Tourism, Financial Resilience, Business Resilience, Cyber Resilience, Metal Theft, and Best Bar None which all support its mission of creating a secure Scotland for business to flourish in.


Key Facts

  • SBRC has use of a Mobile Unit which it deploys all over Scotland distributing business resilience adviceto local businesses.
  • SBRC has run Scotland’s first Insider Threat Conference which educated businesses on how best to protect themselves from Insider Threat.
  • Throughout the year SBRC hosts a variety of conferences on themes including metal theft, anti-illicit trade and adults at risk of financial harm. All of these themes address significant threats to the wellbeing of Scottish businesses.
